Random Viewing: Let Me In

Hello viewers, this is Ninja101 here with a segment that I am going to call "Random Viewings". This is basically a post I will make because I just happened to come across a movie that I wanted to share with you guys.

This Random Viewing was the film called Let Me In, a horror/drama film released in 2010, directed and written by Matt Reeves. It is actually a remake of a Swedish film called Let the Right One In, released in 2008(which is based on the novel of the same name, released in 2004). This film takes place in the 1980's and is about a young boy named Owen(played by Kodi Smit-McPhee) who unknowingly befriends a vampire who actually looks like a 12 year old girl, named Abby(played by Chloe Moretz...HIT GIRL). Sounds kind of like a puppy love version of Twilight, right? This film is actually what Twilight should have been.

"The Thing" is the same Thing as the original "Thing"

Greetings fellow viewers! This is Ninja101 here and I'm finally giving a movie review. I absolutely love science fiction, so I thought that this film would be well suited to be the first review. This film is "The Thing", directed by Matthejis van Heijningen jr.

"The Thing" 2011 is actually a prequel to a much older film with the same name, The Thing, directed by John Carpenter and released in 1982(I have included a lil spoiler for those who have seen the original at the bottom of this post). I will give a review on the original shortly after this one!
